RESUMO

To uncover the internal mechanisms of various drought stress intensities affecting the soluble sugar content in organs and its regulation by endogenous abscisic acid (ABA), we selected the saplings of Platycladus orientalis, a typical tree species in the Beijing area, as our research subject. We investigated the correlation between tree soluble sugars and endogenous ABA in the organs (comprised of leaf, branch, stem, coarse root, and fine root) under two water treatments. One water treatment was defined as T1, which stopped watering until the potted soil volumetric water content (SWC) reached the wilting coefficient and then rewatered the sapling. The other water treatment, named T2, replenished 95% of the total water loss of one potted sapling every day and irrigated the above-mentioned sapling after its SWC reached the wilt coefficients. The results revealed that (1) the photosynthetic physiological parameters of P. orientalis were significantly reduced (p < 0.05) under fast and slow drought processes. The photosynthetic physiological parameters of P. orientalis in the fast drought-rehydration treatment group recovered faster relative to the slow drought-rehydration treatment group. (2) The fast and slow drought treatments significantly (p < 0.05) increased the ABA and soluble sugar contents in all organs. The roots of the P. orientalis exhibited higher sensitivity in ABA and soluble sugar content to changes in soil moisture dynamics compared to other organs. (3) ABA and soluble sugar content of P. orientalis showed a significant positive correlation (p < 0.05) under fast and slow drought conditions. During the rehydration stage, the two were significantly correlated in the T2 treatment (p < 0.05). In summary, soil drought rhythms significantly affected the photosynthetic parameters, organ ABA, and soluble sugar content of P. orientalis. This study elucidates the adaptive mechanisms of P. orientalis plants to drought and rehydration under the above-mentioned two water drought treatments, offering theoretical insights for selecting and cultivating drought-tolerant tree species.

RESUMO

With the rapid development of China's prepared vegetable product market, consumer demand for prepared vegetable products is increasing. The study adopts a qualitative research method to construct a model of factors influencing the generation of consumer word-of-mouth (IWOM) in the online consumption context, taking the real consumer word-of-mouth of Jingdong's own flagship shop of prepared dishes as the object of the study. The model states that the objective factors that promote the generation of word of mouth include specific consumption context (emotionality, initiality, scarcity, convenience and process) and specific product attributes (richness, safety, accessibility and emotionality). Meanwhile subjective factors design consumer satisfaction with the product (satisfaction with a single attribute and satisfaction with the brand as a whole) and emotions (positive self-conscious emotions, high arousal positive emotions and medium arousal positive emotions). Objective factors may contribute directly to the generation of word-of-mouth, or they may further contribute to word-of-mouth generation through subjective consumer factors. In addition, IWOM is often generated not by a single factor, but by a combination of factors.

RESUMO

Visual guided motor imagery (MI) is commonly used in stroke rehabilitation, eliciting event-related desynchronization (ERD) in EEG. Previous studies found that immersion level and visuo-tactile stimulation could modulate ERD during visual guided MI, and both of two factors could also improve sense of ownership (SOO) over target limb (or body). Additionally, the relationship was also reported between the performance of MI and SOO. This study aims to investigate whether immersion and visuo-tactile stimulation affect visual guided MI through the SOO over virtual body in stroke patients. Nineteen stroke patients were recruited. The experiment included two phases (i.e., SOO induction and visual guided MI with SOO) that was manipulated across four conditions in a within-subject design: 2×2 , i.e., immersion (VR, 2D monitor display) × multisensory stimulation (visuo-tactile stimulation, observation without tactile stimulation). Results found peaks ERD amplitude during MI were significantly higher in stronger SOO conditions than weaker SOO conditions. Interestingly, the ERD during visual guided MI under the condition of vision only in VR and visuo-tactile stimulation in 2D monitor are similar, which indicates that SOO may be an important factor behind this phenomenon (due to the similar SOO between these two conditions). A moderate correlation was also found between SOO scores and peaks ERD amplitude during MI. This study discussed the possible factor underlying the effects of immersion and multisensory stimulation on visual guided MI in post-stroke patients, identifying the effect of SOO in this process, and could be referred in future studies for coming up with better MI paradigms for stroke rehabilitation.

RESUMO

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors have been used in clinical for the treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer for years. However, the emergence of drug resistance continues to be a major problem. To identify potential inhibitors, molecular docking-based virtual screening was conducted on ChemDiv and Enamine commercial databases using the Glide program. After multi-step VS and visual inspection, a total of 23 compounds with novel and varied structures were selected, and the predicted ADMET properties were within the satisfactory range. Further molecular dynamics simulations revealed that the reprehensive compound ZINC49691377 formed a stable complex with the allosteric pocket of EGFR and exhibited conserved hydrogen bond interactions with Lys 745 and Asp855 of EGFR over the course of simulation. All compounds were further tested in experiments. Among them, the most promising hit ZINC49691377 demonstrated excellent anti-proliferation activity against H1975 and PC-9 cells, while showing no significant anti-proliferation activity against A549 cells. Meanwhile, apoptosis analysis indicated that the compound ZINC49691377 can effectively induce apoptosis of H1975 and PC-9 cells in a dose-dependent manner, while having no significant effect on the apoptosis of A549 cells. The results indicate that ZINC49691377 exhibits good selectivity. Based on virtual screening and bioassays, ZINC4961377 can be considered as an excellent starting point for the development of new EGFR inhibitors.

RESUMO

Virtual reality (VR)-based rehabilitation training holds great potential for post-stroke motor recovery. Existing VR-based motor imagery (MI) paradigms mostly focus on the first-person perspective, and the benefit of the third-person perspective (3PP) remains to be further exploited. The 3PP is advantageous for movements involving the back or those with a large range because of its field coverage. Some movements are easier to imagine from the 3PP. However, the 3PP training efficiency may be unsatisfactory, which may be attributed to the difficulty encountered when generating a strong sense of ownership (SOO). In this work, we attempt to enhance a visual-guided 3PP MI in stroke patients by eliciting the SOO over a virtual avatar with VR. We propose to achieve this by inducing the so-called out-of-body experience (OBE), which is a full-body illusion (FBI) that people misperceive a 3PP virtual body as his/her own (i.e., generating the SOO to the virtual body). Electroencephalography signals of 13 stroke patients are recorded while MI of the affected upper limb is being performed. The proposed paradigm is evaluated by comparing event-related desynchronization (ERD) with a control paradigm without FBI induction. The results show that the proposed paradigm leads to a significantly larger ERD during MI, indicating a bilateral activation pattern consistent with that in previous studies. In conclusion, 3PP MI can be enhanced in stroke patients by eliciting the SOO through induction of the "OBE" FBI. This study offers more possibilities for virtual rehabilitation in stroke patients and can further facilitate VR application in rehabilitation.

RESUMO

The development of preparation strategies for iron-based catalysts with prominent catalytic activity, stability, and cost effectiveness is greatly significant for the field of catalytic hydrogenation but still remains challenging. Herein, a method for the preparation of iron-based catalysts by the simple pyrolysis of organometallic coordination polymers is described. The catalyst Fe@C-2 with sufficient oxygen vacancies obtained in specific coordination environment exhibited superior nitro hydrogenation performance, acid resistance, and reaction stability. Through solvent effect experiments, toxicity experiments, TPSR, and DFT calculations, it was determined that the superior activity of the catalyst was derived from the contribution of sufficient oxygen vacancies to hydrogen activation and the good adsorption ability of FeO on substrate molecules.

RESUMO

Aiming at the technical problems of frequent dynamic pressure disturbance of regenerated roof and roadway stability control in the process of forming large-section support return channel under the delamination mining, taking 1200-2 fully mechanized caving face of Baiyinhua No. 4 Mine as the engineering background, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis were adopted. The overburden structure of the lower stratified caving face and the loading characteristics of the roof after the expansion are analyzed, and the breaking forms and the limiting conditions of the roof are given. The combined support scheme of anchor rod + metal mesh + steel ladder belt + I-beam insertion + suspension beam + anchor cable + single pillar is studied to form a set of safe and efficient construction support technology system. Practice shows that this scheme can effectively reduce the roof subsidence, narrow the scope of plastic failure zone, and ensure the stability of roadway surrounding rock during the support withdrawal period. Successfully complete the efficient withdrawal of hydraulic support. The research results can provide a good reference for the roof management and the smooth output of coal resources under similar conditions.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Dry cultivation of rice is a water-saving, emission reduction and labor-saving rice farming method. However, the development of rice under dry cultivation is hampered by the limitations of dry cultivation on rice yield and rice quality. We hypothesized that additional silicon (Si) would be a measure to address these limitations or challenges. RESULTS: In the present study, we set up field trials with three treatments: flooded cultivation (W), dry cultivation (D) and dry cultivation plus Si. Yield and quality were reduced under D treatment compared to W treatment. The addition of Si promoted root development, increased plant height and leaf area, increased photosynthetic enzyme activity, net photosynthetic rate and SPAD values, and increased biomass under dry crop conditions. Under the drought conditions, silica up-regulated the expression of AGPSI, SBEI, SBEIIb, SSI and SSII-1 genes and the activities of ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase (AGPase), soluble starch synthetase (SSS) and starch branching enzyme (SBE) enzymes, which reduced protein, amylose, chalkiness percentage and chalkiness degree, increased brown rice rate, milled rice rate and head milled rice rate, and also improved rice quality. In addition, the increase of AGPase, SSS and SBE enzyme activities promoted the filling rate and the number of spikes was guaranteed, whereas the yield was improved by promoting the seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight. CONCLUSION: The results of the present study indicate that adding appropriate amounts of Si fertilizer can improve the yield and quality of rice under dry cultivation by regulating source supply capacity and grain starch synthesis. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND AND AIM: The triglyceride and glucose (TyG) index, as a surrogate marker of insulin resistance, was related to increased mortality. Our study aimed to investigate the specific relationship between the TyG index and all-cause mortality among obese population. METHODS AND RESULTS: 6731 participants with obesity were enrolled from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The TyG index was calculated as log [fasting triglycerides (mg/dL) x fasting glucose (mg/dL)/2]. The baseline levels of TyG associated with the risk of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality were evaluated by Cox proportional hazards models. After a follow-up of 16.7 years, 693 all-cause death and 133 cardiovascular deaths occurred. Dose-response curve showed that the association of the risk of all-cause mortality was non-linear (p = 0.019) and the corresponding TyG index ranged 8.78 to 9.64 for the lowest risk. Compared with the reference quartile of 8.79-9.22, the multivariate-adjusted hazards ratios were 1.32 ((95% confidence interval 1.03-1.70; p = 0.030) in the lowest quartile for all-cause mortality, and 0.55 (0.32-0.93; p = 0.025) in the second quartile for cardiovascular mortality. CONCLUSIONS: TyG index was associated with the risk of all-cause mortality in obese participants and the level associated with the lowest risk was 8.78-9.64.

RESUMO

As the population ages, the incidence of osteoporosis (OP) gradually increases and is becoming a growing public health problem. Meanwhile, although traditional pharmacological therapy is extremely efficient in the treatment of OP, its application is constrained because of irreversible adverse drug reactions. Therefore, scientists should actively develop safer drugs while ensuring the therapeutic effect of OP. Previous studies have shown that p-hydroxybenzoic acid (HA) can upregulate the expression of estrogen receptor (ER). Sodium p-hydroxybenzoate (DSN160) is a sodium salt of HA with a lethal dose greater than 5g/kg. However, whether DSN160 has demonstrable anti-osteoporotic activities remains unclear. In this study, DSN160 increased the organ index, length and diameter of the bone and bone mineral density and improved bone microstructure in retinoic acid-induced OP rats. Furthermore, DSN160 reduced bone metabolism-related indicators. In addition, fulvestrant (a specific antagonist of ER) blocked the anti-OP effect of DSN160. In conclusion, our findings showed that DSN160 exerts anti-OP effect through inhibiting bone metabolism and oxidative stress via activating ERα.

RESUMO

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) and short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) can be formed during the production of chlorinated paraffins (CPs). Detection and accurate quantification of PCDD/Fs in CPs are challenging because of their matrix complexity. Therefore, the occurrence and formation mechanisms of PCDD/Fs from CPs have not been studied extensively in the past. In this study, 15 commercial samples including solid and liquid CPs were collected in 2022 from China. The average ΣSCCP concentrations detected in the solid and liquid CPs were 158 and 137 mg/g, respectively. The average International Toxic Equivalent (I-TEQ) values of 2,3,7,8-PCDD/F in solid and liquid CPs were 15.8 pg I-TEQ/g and 15.0 pg I-TEQ/g, respectively. The solid and liquid CPs had different predominant congener groups for SCCPs and PCDD/Fs. Possible formation routes for the generation of PCDD/Fs were analyzed by screening precursors in paraffin and laboratory-scale thermochemical experiments of CPs. The transformation between 2,3,7,8-PCDD/Fs and non-2,3,7,8-PCDD/Fs was recognized by calculating the successive chlorination preference. The first reported occurrence of PCDD/Fs in CP commercial products indicated that exposure to CPs and downstream products might be an assignable source of PCDD/F emission, which is of great significance to further explore the control factors of PCDD/Fs in the whole life cycle of CPs.

RESUMO

Introduction: Global climate change may lead to changes in precipitation patterns. This may have a significant impact on the microbial communities present in the soil. However, the way these communities respond to seasonal variations in precipitation, particularly in the context of increased precipitation amounts, is not yet well understood. Methods: To explore this issue, a five-year (2012-2016) field study was conducted at the northeast boundary of the Ulan Buh Desert, examining the effects of increased precipitation during different periods of the growing season on both bacterial and fungal communities. The study included five precipitation pattern treatments: a control group (C), as well as groups receiving 50 and 100% of the local mean annual precipitation amount (145 mm) during either the early growing season (E50 and E100) or the late growing season (L50 and L100). The taxonomic composition of the soil bacterial and fungal communities was analyzed using Illumina sequencing. Results: After 5 years, the bacterial community composition had significantly changed in all treatment groups, with soil bacteria proving to be more sensitive to changes in precipitation timing than to increased precipitation amounts within the desert ecosystem. Specifically, the alpha diversity of bacterial communities in the late growing season plots (L50 and L100) decreased significantly, while no significant changes were observed in the early growing season plots (E50 and E100). In contrast, fungal community composition remained relatively stable in response to changes in precipitation patterns. Predictions of bacterial community function suggested that the potential functional taxa in the bacterial community associated with the cycling of carbon and nitrogen were significantly altered in the late growing season (L50 and L100). Discussion: These findings emphasize the importance of precipitation timing in regulating microbial communities and ecosystem functions in arid regions experiencing increased precipitation amounts.

RESUMO

This paper attempts to induce the third-person perspective full body illusion (3PP-FBI) with virtual reality (VR) in stroke patients. Nineteen individuals with stroke were recruited. The 3PP-FBI induction method, which was well-established in healthy individuals, using synchronous visual-tactile stimulation on one body part was used. Questionnaire scores and proprioceptive drift values were collected under different conditions for characterizing the induced 3PP-FBI. Results showed that synchronous visual-tactile stimulation of a single body part (back or upper limb) was sufficient to elicit 3PP-FBI in stroke patients, forming a sense of ownership (SOO) over the entire virtual body. Moreover, the intensity of 3PP-FBI was stronger when the back was stimulated, compared to stimulating the impaired upper limb. This study demonstrated the viability of visual-guided rehabilitation training while having a SOO to a virtual body from the third-person perspective, in anticipation of achieving better rehabilitation outcome for movements beyond the first-person perspective.

RESUMO

To explore whether there were differences among the patterns of response of grasslands with different levels of degradation to extreme drought events and nitrogen addition, three grasslands along a degradation gradient (extremely, moderately, and lightly degraded) were selected in the Bashang area of northern China using the human disturbance index (HDI). A field experiment with simulated extreme spring drought, nitrogen addition, and their interaction was conducted during the growing seasons of 2020 and 2021. The soil moisture, aboveground biomass, and composition of the plant community were measured. The primary results were as follows. (1) Drought treatment caused soil drought stress, with moderately degraded grassland being the most affected, which resulted in an 80% decrease in soil moisture and a 78% decrease in aboveground biomass. The addition of nitrogen did not mitigate the impact of drought. Moreover, the aboveground net primary production (ANPP) in 2021 was less sensitive to spring drought than in 2020. (2) The community composition changed after 2 years of drought treatment, particularly for the moderately degraded grasslands with annual forbs, such as Salsola collina, increasing significantly in biomass proportion, which led to a trend of exacerbated degradation (higher HDI). This degradation trend decreased under the addition of nitrogen. (3) The variation in drought sensitivities of the ANPP was primarily determined by the proportion of plants based on the classification of degradation indicators in the community, with higher proportions of intermediate degradation indicator species exhibiting more sensitivity to spring drought. These findings can help to provide scientific evidence for the governance and restoration of regional degraded grassland under frequent extreme weather conditions.

RESUMO

Phosphorus is an essential macronutrient for plant growth and development, but phosphate resources are limited and rapidly depleting due to massive global agricultural demand. This study identified two genes in the phosphate transporter 2 (PHT2) family of soybean by bioinformatics. The expression patterns of two genes by qRT-PCR at leaves and all were induced by low-phosphate stress. After low-phosphate stress, GmPHT2;2 expression was significantly higher than GmPHT2;1, and the same trend was observed throughout the reproductive period. The result of heterologous expression of GmPHT2 in Arabidopsis knockout mutants of atpht2;1 shows that chloroplasts and whole-plant phosphorus content were significantly higher in plants complementation of GmPHT2;2 than in plants complementation of GmPHT2;1. This suggests that GmPHT2;2 may play a more important role in plant phosphorus metabolic homeostasis during low-phosphate stress than GmPHT2;1. In the yeast backfill assay, both genes were able to backfill the ability of the defective yeast to utilize phosphorus. GmPHT2 expression was up-regulated by a low-temperature treatment at 4 °C, implying that GmPHT2;1 may play a role in soybean response to low-temperature stress, in addition to being involved in phosphorus transport processes. GmPHT2;1 and GmPHT2;2 exhibit a cyclic pattern of circadian variation in response to light, with the same pattern of gene expression changes under red, blue, and white light conditions. GmPHT2 protein was found in the chloroplast, according to subcellular localization analysis. We conclude that GmPHT2 is a typical phosphate transporter gene that can improve plant acquisition efficiency.

RESUMO

The development of future quantum devices such as the maser, i.e., the microwave analog of the laser, could be well-served by the exploration of chemically tunable organic materials. Current iterations of room-temperature organic solid-state masers are composed of an inert host material that is doped with a spin-active molecule. In this work, we systematically modulated the structure of three nitrogen-substituted tetracene derivatives to augment their photoexcited spin dynamics and then evaluated their potential as novel maser gain media by optical, computational, and electronic paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. To facilitate these investigations, we adopted an organic glass former, 1,3,5-tri(1-naphthyl)benzene to act as a universal host. These chemical modifications impacted the rates of intersystem crossing, triplet spin polarization, triplet decay, and spin-lattice relaxation, leading to significant consequences on the conditions required to surpass the maser threshold.

RESUMO

ANALYSIS: of air conditioner (AC) filter dust can reveal the level of organophosphate ester (OPE) pollution in indoor environments, but comprehensive research on this topic remains lacking. This study combined non-targeted and targeted analysis to screen and analyze 101 samples of AC filter dust, settled dust, and air obtained in 6 indoor environments. Phosphorus-containing organic compounds account for a large proportion of the organic compounds found in indoor environments, and OPEs might be the main pollutants. Using toxicity data and traditional priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons for toxicity prediction of OPEs, 11 OPEs were prioritized for further quantitative analysis. The concentration of OPEs in AC filter dust was highest, followed in descending order by that in settled dust and that in air. The concentration of OPEs in AC filter dust in the residence was two to seven times greater than that in the other indoor environments. More than 56% of the OPEs in AC filter dust showed significant correlation, while those in settled dust and air were weakly correlated, suggesting that large amounts of OPEs collected over long periods could have a common source. Fugacity results showed that OPEs were transferred easily from dust to air, and that dust was the main source of OPEs. The values of both the carcinogenic risk and the hazard index were lower than the corresponding theoretical risk thresholds, indicating low risk to residents through exposure to OPEs in indoor environments. However, it is necessary to remove AC filter dust in a timely manner to prevent it becoming a pollution sink of OPEs that could be rereleased and endanger human health. This study has important implications for comprehensive understanding of the distribution, toxicity, sources, and risks of OPEs in indoor environments.

RESUMO

Desert ecosystem CO2 exchange may play an important role in global carbon cycling. However, it is still not clear how the CO2 fluxes of shrub-dominated desert ecosystems respond to precipitation changes. We performed a 10-year long-term rain addition experiment in a Nitraria tangutorum desert ecosystem in northwestern China. In the growing seasons of 2016 and 2017, with three rain addition treatments (natural precipitation +0%, +50%, and +100% of annual average precipitation), gross ecosystem photosynthesis (GEP), ecosystem respiration (ER), and net ecosystem CO2 exchange (NEE) were measured. The GEP responded nonlinearly and the ER linearly to rain addition. The NEE presented a nonlinear response along the rain addition gradient, with a saturation threshold by rain addition between +50% and +100%. The growing season mean NEE ranged from -2.25 to -5.38 µmol CO2 m-2 s-1, showing net CO2 uptake effect, with significant enhancement (more negative) under the rain addition treatments. Although natural rainfall fluctuated greatly in the growing seasons of 2016 and 2017, reaching 134.8% and 44.0% of the historical average, the NEE values remained stable. Our findings highlight that growing season CO2 sequestration in desert ecosystems will increase against the background of increasing precipitation levels. The different responses of GEP and ER of desert ecosystems under changing precipitation regimes should be considered in global change models.

RESUMO

Masers can deliver ultralow-noise amplification of microwave signals in medical imaging and deep-space communication, with recent research being rekindled through the discovery of gain media operating at room-temperature, eschewing bulky cryogenics that hindered their use. This work shows the discovery of 6,13-diazapentacene doped in para-terphenyl (DAP:PTP) as a maser gain medium that can operate at room-temperature, without an external magnetic field. With a maser output power of -10 dBm, it is on par with pentacene-doped para-terphenyl in masing power, while possessing compelling advantages such as faster amplification startup times, being pumped by longer wavelength light at 620 nm and greater chemical stability from nitrogen groups. Furthermore, the maser bursts from DAP:PTP allow one to reach the strong coupling regime for cavity quantum electrodynamics, with a high cooperativity of 182. The optical and microwave spin dynamics of DAP:PTP are studied in order to evaluate its capabilities as a maser gain medium, where it features fast intersystem crossing and an advantageously higher triplet quantum yield. The results pave the way for the future discovery of similar maser materials and help designate them as promising candidates for quantum sensors, optoelectronic devices and the study of cavity quantum electrodynamic effects at room-temperature.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a kind of epithelial carcinoma that is common in East and Southeast Asia. Distant metastasis after radiotherapy remains the main cause of treatment failure and preradiotherapy immune system function can influence prognosis. Our study aimed to identify immune-related prognostic factors for NPC after radiotherapy and establish a prognostic model to predict progression-free survival (PFS) and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS). METHODS: We enrolled NPC patients and divided them into training and validation cohorts with follow-up. We collected clinical information and investigated immune cells, EBV DNA and cytokines in the peripheral blood of NPC patients before radiotherapy and EBV DNA after radiotherapy. Among these immune cells, we included CD8+CD28- T cells, which are a unique T-cell immunosenescent subset that increases in human peripheral blood with increasing age and declining immune function. Based on the detection results and clinical information, we utilized Cox regression and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression to screen the PFS and DMFS prognostic factors and build nomograms to predict the PFS and DMFS of NPC. We also verified the results in the validation set. RESULTS: Three factors associated with PFS were selected: proportion of CD8+CD28- T cells posttreatment EBV and N stage. Three factors associated with DMFS were screened: proportion of CD8+CD28- T cells, posttreatment EBV and N stage. CD8+CD28- T cells are correlated with systemic inflammation and posttreatment immunosuppression. The C-indexes were 0.735 and 0.745 in the training and validation cohorts for predicting PFS. For DMFS, the C-indexes were 0.793 and 0.774 in the training and validation cohorts. CONCLUSIONS: The pretreatment proportion of CD8+CD28- T cells is a candidate prognostic biomarker for NPC after radiotherapy. The constructed nomogram models based on CD8+CD28- T cells have good predictive value.
